Oh god no - don't follow MCPS, they give off/delays like crazy.

From the email my daughter received from the head, they are having a full day. No news means they start on time. They decide 100% by 5:30am but my guess is an 8am start.

Yes, she did. The Middle School Head emailed the girls in the evening to say they would have all their classes and not dropping M7c instead having it during student flex time. If you ever have a question, send an email to your head and they get back to you. At least lower and middle do.

It is rather comical. Does Holton not have email capability? A website? My kids have gone to 2 different private schools plus MCPS and we've gotten texts, emails, robo calls, plus the ability to check the website for various schools. It's not that hard.

Holton sent out a mass email on Mon night closing school Tuesday. If you went to their website on Tues, it says they won't make a decision for Wed until 5am. They were trying to get the kids in. As for today, no email but really the roads are completely fine. It was common sense they were going back. This is just a few whiny moms - no big deal.
