Successful applicants appear to be mostly from the major clubs, with coach or director recommendation, and good film. Big contingents from most of the top 10-15 clubs. From the rosters for 27s/28s, it's clear that certain clubs value it and advocate for their players (see eg Yellow Jackets). MD and NY clubs are unsurprisingly the dominant presence, and the "network" appears key, although there are a smattering of players from lower-ranked clubs, and states like California, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, etc. that attended.

Also, while it may be surprising to you, there are already a number of 2028s with a reputation. That said, acceptances/invites were not perfectly distributed according to the MD boards, as one might expect.

Registered for ID, but We’re going to bail. My 2028 will be coming off of a long stretch of (very hot) lacrosse, and I know these events don’t matter at this age. Trying to keep her well being in mind.

I would rather not say her name on this forum. I did give one of the coordinators a heads up she will not be attending. Her name is Amanda Hugginkiss. When you get there, just tell someone you are looking for her.

Pride likely stays where they are at #9. They might even move one spot HIGHER thanks to Philly Blast Brave having a very tough weekend.

Doubtful, they lost to monster and prime time. Teams ranked lower than them. They will drop out of of top ten.

Wins and losses don't matter to the rankings. Pride did not perform badly enough relative to expectations to drop them out of the top 10. Hero's Green only beating Sky Walkers White by 5 did more damage to their ranking than the whole weekend did to Pride's. #8 or #9 is where Pride will be. It's just math.

Correction: I actually don't believe the short playoff games impact the ratings/ratings, so Hero's won't take a hit from the SW 5 goal win.

Still, I think YJ could be new #1 and Pride will be #8 or #9.

YJ Maget is new #1 and Pride is now #8.

It was explained in good detail on page 236. It's not about wins and losses at all. Pride moved up because did not do very bad relative to expectations, and lucked out by having Philly Blast Brave implode. The math makes sense.

Perhaps the PP who nailed the prediction can provide a tutorial. But for starters, Pride's 8 goal win over YJ Carranante balanced out their slightly negative rating results from losing to two top 15 teams on day 1. The close scores in those games meant that their overall rating was not significantly altered. Meanwhile, Philly Blast had several lopsided losses and their rating was hit harder so they fell several spots. Prime Time moved up based on their solid weekend, as did YJ Maget.
