People around here get so worked up over nothing! In Minnesota/Wisconsin/Alaska/Siberia, they would be having recess in snow like this! DC is full of wimps!

Oh no! What am I going to DO with my kids for ANOTHER day?!

Those poor kids are going to miss their breakfast and lunch! MCPS is cruel!

Seriously, the roads are not good now, plus the temp is not going above freezing, it's simple physics... roads aren't safe.

How about announcing the obvious early!

Northern areas have the equipment, we don't.
