Disney world for babies??

My mother just told me that she planned on taking my sister and her 6 yr old to Disneyworld in February but now my sister can't go and so my mother offered me my sister's plane tix (which she will pay for) so I would go with my mother, 6 yr old neice and DH could come down for a couple days of it. She has a 2 bedroom resort condo with kitchen that she rents at Disney. So basically I just got offered a free week get away. The question is: my DD will only be 8 months old and I'm not sure if it is worth going since she is too young really for what Disney offers?? Basically pushing her around the park will be the entertainment obviously as she will be too young for the rides, shows etc. But there is a kiddie pool which I could take her as her first pool experience and just get her out in (hopefully) warm weather. Any experience, thoughts, down sides, suggestions?

Aimlessly wheeling a stroller through those crowds doesn't sound like my idea of fun. But...

You could go for the hotel and pool. Let Grandma take Niece to Disney while you and Baby chill out at the pool all day. You could go for the babysitting Grandma might provide after Niece goes to bed. You could go just for the chance to sit around in weather that's warmer than here.

A free week away, with a kitchen to make life easier -- why not?
