| I was wondering if the schools already have the scores. |
| No, we have not received them yet. |
| The school has had them for months-they just aren't sharing!!!!!! |
|
No, really we don't. I promise.

| Well, if you don't you should-test taken in mid October for Pete's sake! |
But why? Kids are not going to start AAP right away. They are going to start only from next academic year. There is nothing you can do if you knew the results back in November or now. If you are complaining about lack of time for parent referral from the time results are announced, you don't have to wait for the results, instead keep everything ready and wait for the results. If it's not favorable to you, then submit your referral forms. |
| The point is, who wants to submit a referral form if they don't have to! |
Submitting a parental referral takes 5 minutes longer than filling out the rest of the package/questioneer. It is so not a big deal. |
| Schools do have in pool info but don't have scores yet. Letters to parents will be sent between January 20th and 24th.... Administrator here.... Most letters will be sent on24th to arrive on Saturday.... |
Thanks for this info. I suspected letters would be extra-late--our school encouraged parents to submit referrals without waiting for the letter, and in six years, that's the first time I've seen that. |
Other schools have offered the same recommendation in years past. |
That was the recommendation at DC's school last year, but it was the first year with the FxAT and it seemed like the scores and in-pool letters came really late. |
