But then I saw Kelce strutting into the venue wearing a sparkly outfit and pointy boots and just--ICK. It's so hard for me to believe that Taylor is into that! I can totally buy her pivoting to someone more machismo and athletic, but not whatever that hothead dummy has going on. I'm so embarrassed for her.

I'm embarrassed for YOU. "Machismo" is a desired trait in a man?? So what if he wears an outfit that sparkles? What if a woman wears a pants suit?? Any dude who is confident enough to wear whatever makes him feel good is preferable to some toxic masculinity. It's 2024. Have you not seen men wearing pearls? A skirt? Whatever they want to because creative expression is a sign of a healthy ego?

Saying you are so embarrassed for someone is so obnoxious. As if she would care.

Oh, she cares. If there is one thing we know about Taylor, it's that what she cares about most of all is what people think of her.

UM, she does not care what someone on DCUM thinks. Please.

Oh she cares what people think. She dumped Healy right after he insulted Ice Spice. Then she invited Ice Spice to join her on stage to sing Karma, introduced her on SNL, and invited her to the Super Bowl.

I understand that coach wanting to act like it’s not a big deal but it really is. I thought he was pretty funny on SNL and was hoping he was sort of the gentle giant with a sense of humor type, but now I think he’s probably got really rage issues. I don’t see this relationship lasting. It’s too bad because I think it’s good for famous people to find someone who both understands the issues in the lifestyle but also is in a different field so there’s no so much direct comparison of careers.

Except they really wouldn't.
He was fired up, not yelling AT his coach. I've seen far, far worse. Not that we're in a race to the bottom, but this is nothing compared to other sideline/coach stuff. You should hear the stuff coming out of the coaches mouth sometimes. Some coaches are just awful. Reid didn't care about this at all.

Can you please post video examples because from what I’m reading online TK’s outburst was one of the worst.

He was both fired up and yelling at his coach. He was angry about Reid's play calls. In the interviews Reid was magnanimous in playing down how screwed up Kelce's behavior was.

+1

She looked embarrassed. OTOH, she was embarrassing in her AOTY acceptance speech so she can’t fairly cast stones.

Taylor’s going to have to get rid of Travis now. Who will she date next…maybe a European Soccer player.

I agree with the sentiment, but the quick response and obsession with damage control has Scott Swift written all over it.

Yeah their kisses are quite formal and chaste. No heat, nothing real about it at all.

It was terrible behavior, unsportsmanlike and he is an awful role model for young athletes. His “speech” was a bunch of unintelligible garbage. I guess he appeals to a low IQ demographic.

You conspiracy theorists are killing me. What purpose does it serve you to believe that this is not an actual dating relationship. I’m genuinely curious.

I don’t know that it’s a conspiracy theory. I think people are in denial that she is dating TK. She can do better.

I feel like Taylor is caught up and believing in the relationship (she LOVES the idea of love and romance), but that her team and Travis Kelce are the real beneficiaries of this matchup. Everyone's right when they say she doesn't need this relationship or hype, but she adores this kind of thing, at this global level--she and Travis have made a live High School Musical. With the world cities as a backdrop and all of us watching it unfold from our sold-out seats.

Whereas, Taylor can never be "too big" for the business side and egos of her management. Why is it so hard to believe that although she's enjoying the ride she is also being pushed. Hard. By her team.

Travis is just a dolt who's high on his own product (himself). He enjoys the hype, the biggest stages, and the trophies (Lombardi and Taylor). He does not feel what she feels, is my guess. I don't know what's going to happen, but how could this possibly last?

From the start, I said he wasn’t good enough for her. I’m guessing his behavior toward the coach and in the interview have her re-thinking this relationship. I would be.

+1. Tom Brady comes off looking better than the coach in that video.
