Spanish/tapas catering for birthday party

Anonymous
I'm throwing a 40th bday party for my husband. We are doign it at home and the only cost will be food and alcohol. My husband has had a rough few years socially - lots of friends moved away, he changed jobs, etc. - and I want to have a great, fun party. He loves spanish food and I was hoping to find someone to cater a party with a giant paella, some tapas, etc. and was hoping someone might have a recommendation.
Thanks!

Call Jaleo, and if they can't do it then ask them for a recommendation.

Panas has good empanadas (but that's more Argentinian)

Guardado's in Bethesda do catering for weddings and corporations, not sure if for parties, but worth asking as their tapas are to die for.

Our friends were all really surprised by how good La Tasca's catering was (we got it for a party this past spring, even though we've never been all that impressed by dining in.) I wouldn't get the paella (they don't even appear to use saffron), but in terms of the tapas themselves, everything was great.

Call El Patio Restaurant and cafe, in Rockville. They have great food at a great price. I have lunch there every weekend.
