vtech sit to stand walker

I bought this but then read walkers are bad for gait and should not be used. Thoughts?

I don't think that's the type of walker they're talking about. They're talking about the ones where they're basically seats and kids' feet drag.

My son absolutely loves this walker. Best 20-something bucks I ever spent.

Vtech has great reviews

That isn't the type of walker that is an issue. My son loved that thing. Just keep it away from stairs.

Our son loved that farm walker too. That rooster crowing sure got old after awhile though!

DD loved it, I made sure it never had batteries - very loud and annoying!

NP. How does this compare to the leapfrog music table? The part which is used before they start walking?

"Welcome to our learning farm..." Oh my god. My son loves this thing. We got it when he was 9 months and just pulling himself up and he still loves it as a walking 13 month old.

I finally had to turn the sound off because I couldn't take that song anymore. My 14-month-old LOVES this. And it's been months. MONTHS. I thought it we could have given this away by now, but no.

It helped my DS actually start walking. He hasn't played with it in awhile (now 22 mo) and I pulled it out to consider donating it and he was all over it. It was definitely a good investment.

To the PP who asked about the music table. We had one as well (borrowed from a friend). He used and liked both. If I had to choose just one, I would go with the sit and stand walker.

We just got this for Christmas: 8-month-old DD adores it. She opens and shuts the barn door forever. "Peekaboo!" I did take the telephone piece off until she's a more confident stander -- it slips off the cradle when she puts weight on it.
