IPAD Mini or Camcorder?

| I am thinking of getting 12 year old twins either a camcorder or an ipad mini to share mostly for videos, photos, etc. Thoughts on whether this is feasible and whether one is easier to "share." I tend to think the camcorder might seem less personal and more of a "share" item but we have mostly apple products otherwise so maybe easier to stick with one system |

My twin siblings could never share anything. Get two Ipod Touches so they can each take videos.
If that does not appeal to you, I would not get a camcorder these days for teens/tweens. They would rather get a Go-pro. |
