Recommendations for stylist good with curly hair in downtown DC?

Anyone have a hair stylist who's good with curly hair that's located in DC? I've been going to a stylist in Alexandria who specializes in curly hair but I don't like how's she's been cutting mine and I'd like someone closer to my office downtown.
(I've gone to other stylists who don't specialize in curly hair but I find that they never quite get that curly hair can be different. Like, when it dries naturally, you can lose an inch of length and your salon-cute hair cut now makes you look like a shaggy poodle.) Thanks in advance! |

| Fiddleheads - I've been twice. I've only been to Bloomingdale Florida Ave location and had Wangui cut my hair, but there's also the original Dupont location on 17th. |

| I didn't like Fiddleheads when I tried it several years ago. Stylist/owner was flakey. Hope it's improved. |

| You can also try Garrett Johnson at spalogic in Dupont. He's been cutting my curls for years and I get lots of compliments on my hair. |

| I also go to Garrett. You'll feel like his shrink but he's nice and does a great job. I have also seen many of the others being recommended and I have settled with Garrett. |
