Back/Pelvic discomfort

Woke up with this tingling numbness on my back side near my upper butt area, near the pelvis. It's an aching throbbing discomfort. It does not affect my legs or left side. Sitting, walking, standing or laying down doesn't help. If I sit like a V shape it helps a bit. What can this be? Do I see an internist for this or some other specialist?
