Can anyone help compare these items for a 9 month old for Christmas? All take up a decent amount of space, so we are looking to only get one for now. Any other gift recs for this age?
Thanks. |
| My 5 year old still uses our play kitchen a ton. I don't think she would use the other things at age 5. |
| My 17 MO loves the house. He goes back and forth through the door endlessly. We're actually going to wait a little bit and get one of those nicer bigger kitchens. I have some friends who have the kitchen and their kids seem to like it too. Anything that has "cruise" or "crawl" in the name definitely has a limited shelf life once the kids are up and running. |
| The house is great!!!!!! I don't know the crawl-n-cruise jungle though. |

We have both the house and the crawl/cruise jungle. My son is 18 months.
I got the house first when he was 9 months and was and still is a huge hit - he loves that house. I just got the other thing one month ago and although he is running/active - he still likes it. I was worried about it bc I thought it was boring - but he seems to like to sit and chill out in front of it popping the balls in the different areas. If I had to pick one or the other it would be the house = our 3 yr old neighbor comes over to play in it too so I know it will last a few more years. |
| The house is hands down the best toy there is for a baby/toddler. My 3.5 yo still plays with it sometimes. The kitchen is for when they are older. Get the house now, get the kitchen for the Xmas before DC turns 2, or for the 2yo bday. |
| My kids literally played with the house every day from 6 months on for several years. One of the top 5 toys we have. |
