Can we make this a recurring thread?
Where is organic milk on sale this week? I usually have smart balance coupons and use those, but as a family who goes through 4-5 gallons a week and am in close proximity to almost all major grocery stores... where is it on sale? A sale price can save us 10 dollars a week or more (Yes I look at the circulars before I shop) |

What's your target price?
I find organic milk is cheapest at WF. Something like 5.69 for a gallon. |
| Harris teeter has it on evic special at 4.99 gallon (you register your Vic card online to get special deals). HT organic milk gets high marks from those that evaluate organic milk. |
| I get it for $4.50 or so at MOMs. Trader Joe's also has good prices. |
PP beat me to it - I paid $4.99 at HT today. |
Sort of--they get okay marks. Most of their milk comes from factory farms, but they are at least transparent about it. http://www.cornucopia.org/dairysurvey/FarmID_112.html |
If your goal is organic milk, they all have to meet the same criteria to use the label, of if "cow rating." |
| Harris Teeter is consistently cheaper than my other neighborhood stores, but I find their milk doesn't last as long. Not usually a problem impressed we are out of the house a lot over the weekend. But yes it's 4.99 right now. |
| If you buy a case (4 gallons) at WF, you get a 10% discount. $5.69 - $0.56 = $5.13. Everyday. |
| Giant. All sold out (every brand) when my DH got groceries last night. |
| Bump. |
