So that I never have to take out the trash again? (Barring extreme circumstances)
You empty the dishwasher
You wash all of his clothes, skid marks and all.
+1 |
Let's see, I clean bathrooms in exchange for my husband doing all garbage and cat litter duty.
Is it that difficult to tie a bag, lift it and then put it in a garbage can?
What does he think is a reasonable exchange?
I always take it out.
For me or for him? I seem to manage just fine though its the one chore I hate doing. I already do the laundry and the dishwasher. That's not to say he doesn't help out, but his efforts are more of the home renovation variety. (We bought a fixer-upper.) |
Do you work?
Our marriage is pretty 50/50 and we don't tend to follow gender-housework related stereotypes but he almost never does dishes and I almost never take the garbage/recycling out. Works for us.
Full time. |
Ask him what chores he hates most, and then pick the one you don't mind doing.
I deal w all the laundry--from dry cleaning to folding--and he always does the kitchen and litter box. We have an ok split, 60/40 where he does more thank god haha
Really? Well I just take out the trash when it gets full. I am missing something?
