10yr anniversary destination?

| We are planning a 4-night trip to celebrate our 10yr anniversary and would love recommendations on where to go. The trip will be without kids and our expectations are direct flight from WAS, DCA OR BWI; beautiful beaches; great food. Timing will be mid August. Any suggestions? Thank you! |

In mid August you will get great prices at many resorts. The direct flight thing is very limiting though. Would you consider switching planes?
Turks and Caicos is an easy switch in Miami or Charlotte, and Grace Bay Club or Regent Palms pulls be good options. Or fly direct to St Maarten and take a boat to Anguilla? |

| Couples swept away in negril Jamaica. Best beach ever. I've been to many other places but this place is hands down the best for romabce, food, beach an relaxation. |

Best beaches: Bermuda (closest, but expensive hotels) Cancun (Cheaper hotels, further flight) Bahamas Puerto Rico |

Yes, we did it last year at spring break. But I don't know about august -that's off peak. |

I love Hawaii, but so not worth it for four days. You'll spend a full day and then some traveling each direction. |

Aruba - it's outside the hurricane belt and I think there are direct flights from Dulles.
I also second Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica. |
