Can anyone explain (in English) Michigan's requirement of "fourth term proficiency in a foreign language"? Is it typically met by HS foreign language requirements or are Michigan freshman taking a foreign language?
Thanks! |
| Saying they need the language proficiency that one would gain after taking 4 semesters of college french. They will likely have to take a test to determine if they qualify. Usually one year of hs french will equal a semester if college french. (Substitute Spanish or Chinese or whatever, instead of French!) |
And Michigan gets crossed off the list

If your DC has accommodations they may waive the requirement. I can't imagine that a school of 30,000 wouldn't have at least some kids needing it waived. My DC goes to one that doesn't waive but that's a SLAC. |
