French Maternal School

Can any current or alumni families from French Maternal School speak to how their child scored on the WPPSI and exmissions? Do you feel that the language immersion impacted the WPPSI? Did you consider non-immersion independent schools, and how did your DC do with admissions? My concern is that there are only a few games in town (i.e., WIS, Lycee Rochambeau, etc.) that would allow DC to continue immersion beyond French Maternal, and what happens if DC doesn't get into one of those.

Also, any regrets for choosing French Maternal School? TIA

Elsie Whitlow Stokes and Shepherd Elementary both offer french immersion, just FYI. They're both public schools though (one is a charter, one is DCPS) but at least they're options if you're serious about immersion education. The cognitive benefits of immersion are proving to be very strong.
