Can anyone recommend a therapist for the adult child of a suspected narcissistic mother? Nothing severe, just a suspected one with extreme inability to take (perceived) criticism and bond on a deep level. I (the child) am trying to cope with this both in my role as a daughter and as a parent myself now, and I want to understand and head off any tendencies I may have. The goal is to maintain a close relationship with my mother and facilitate a healthy relationship between her and my children as they near the age of understanding things on a more grown up level.
Insurance is BCBS, location is DC or MoCo close-in. |
