Any thoughts on most reliable early pregnancy home test? Also, how about blood tests from Doctor's office? When would be the earliest you could get one of those?
TIA. |

I just went through this and would recommend the First Response Early Result. I also bought the CVS version, which actually showed a positive result faster than the First Response one!
I went in for my blood test at 17DPO. Good luck

| I would recommend against testing early b/c you might be able to detect a chemical pregnancy so you will get excited thinking you are pregnant only to find out later that it wasn't a real pregnancy, that it was just a chemical one. Please be patient and wait until your period is due. That way, if you did have a chemical pregnancy you will never know about it and you won't feel like you lost a pregnancy, and if you are pregnant, I think finding out a week later or so is not the end of the world. Waiting is best. |
| 16:17 poster here. I just wanted to clarify what I meant about the CVS test. I meant the result appeared faster (within a few seconds) rather than I got a result earlier than I did with the First Response one. Hope that makes sense. |
