Best early pregnancy test?

Any thoughts on most reliable early pregnancy home test? Also, how about blood tests from Doctor's office? When would be the earliest you could get one of those?

I just went through this and would recommend the First Response Early Result. I also bought the CVS version, which actually showed a positive result faster than the First Response one!

I went in for my blood test at 17DPO.

I would recommend against testing early b/c you might be able to detect a chemical pregnancy so you will get excited thinking you are pregnant only to find out later that it wasn't a real pregnancy, that it was just a chemical one. Please be patient and wait until your period is due. That way, if you did have a chemical pregnancy you will never know about it and you won't feel like you lost a pregnancy, and if you are pregnant, I think finding out a week later or so is not the end of the world. Waiting is best.

16:17 poster here. I just wanted to clarify what I meant about the CVS test. I meant the result appeared faster (within a few seconds) rather than I got a result earlier than I did with the First Response one. Hope that makes sense.
