I was reading another forum today and came across this message:

There is something sinister about this website.

I posted a new thread a few hours ago asking HOW I delete my account.

It has now been removed and I have been offered no explanation.

Likewise some comments I made about the fair city of Cork.

Perhaps the people who run this site are only interested in hearing what THEY want to hear eh?

Well...I say AGAIN...HOW DO I DELETE MY ACCOUNT????

I am not interested in using this forum, or website, any more.

Life's too short.

I therefore wish to LEAVE it.

MY CHOICE.

If I am NOT allowed to leave.

I will continue to post new threads like this until such time as I AM allowed to leave!

I immediately felt familiarity with the message given the number of very similar ones I've received. Of course, I also felt solidarity with the admin. But here is the kicker: the topic of the forum is Penny Whistles. So, all of you who think that DCUM is a touch place, you should try discussing penny whistles!
