What is your 401k return YTD?

Mine is 33% YTD thanks to the stellar stock market.

Just finished my year end reporting yesterday.

- Primary stock accounts up 14%
- Secondary retirement account including 401K and 529 plans, up $129K. 401k up 18%, excluding matches.
- 2013 net worth increase of 21% from 1.1M to 1.34M

23% in my TSP. Gangbusters year for us, hope it continues, but I'm obviously not holding my breath.

just under 25%. I have 70% of it in an s&p index, 20% split between two actively traded growth funds, and 10% in a bond index fund.

Me too. Sadly I'm heavy in stock. It should have done better.

Problem here is a lot of websites will count company contributions as part of the return. Hard to compare.

thank you all for making me feel bad. I was all excited yesterday because my YTD was 13% (no company contribution).

A lot of websites do it correctly, e.g. fidelity.
