Our gas bill, for a rowhouse in DC, is around $90 monthly. Our home is used during the day, heat runs during the day.

Apt, 1150 sq. feet, DW works at home so heat and lights used during the day. Electric only, about $50-$60 a month.

3000 sq ft. I work from home. Gas = $81/month. Electric = 212/month. We're on budget billing for both utilities.

Single home with approximately 2200 sq foot. This month's gas bill was $135 and electric bill was 80.

Gas higher in the winter, electric in the summer. both lower in spring and fall

Jesus I need to insulate. 2500 sq ft, gas bill hits $300+ but it's an old house.

2700 sf all electric averages $150ish -- we are gone during the workday, but the heat stays on.

2500 sq ft 3 level th. Gas bill is $41, electric is $120. This is with budget pay so all equalled out over the year.

how do you ugys do it? i like in a 1 bedroom townhouse and my gas bill is about $80 and electricity can be as high as $200

i would like to know how people do it as well. My house IS badly insulated, something I need to take care of in the future.

gas bill during winter is around $160-180 a month, electric bill around $100-120. my house is 860 sq feet and used during the day.

4000SF SFH, electric, except oil heat. $350/month electric. Oil is crazy expensive, maybe $300 to $400/month during winter?
