How do you store your recipes? Do you use an app on your computer/phone? Which one?
Do you use a binder? Recipe box with recipe cards? |
I glue the keepers into a composition book. Classic

For Christmas I made my mom a binder with plastic sleeves and dividers. She has struggled for decade on how to organize and I'm bringing her onto my system.
Google docs. I can access anywhere. Copy recipes online, and i've even typed some in. Hope i never lose it...
Store the recipes I want to try as bookmarks on the computer, and if they turn out to be good I print them out and keep them in a binder with plastic sleeves.
Another user of binder with plastic sleeves.
I take a picture of it on my iPad and save it to a photo file.
Allrecipes.com and a board on Pinterest.

Put them on 3x5 index cards and get the box that fits its size. Some of the recipe websites let you print in a variety of index card sizes, which helps.

I keep photocopies of my favorites in a set of filing folders. Each folder is labelled for a category: meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, other sides, pasta, etc. The folders are all stored in a small filing box.
I like this system because it's easy to stuff new recipes into the appropriate folder, it fits any size paper including 8.5x11 photocopies or handwritten post-its, and it's easy to find things without constantly having to re-organize stuff. I copied the idea from my mom, who has been doing it this way for as long as I can remember. I would love to move to an electronic / on-line system, but haven't found the time to scam several decades of collected recipes. Plus, I could never keep up with scanning new ones. And I like having a hard copy out while I'm cooking. Yes, I'm old fashioned .

I use onetsp.com. https://onetsp.com/
Another vote for binder with sleeves. Easy to print out and put them in a sleeve without a lot of fuss.
I print them out and put them in a 3 ring binder with category tabs. Don't use the plastic sleeves though.
I used to print them out, but now that I have a cookbook holder in the kitchen (laughed when I saw it when I bought the house, actually really useful) I bookmark them on the iPad and put the iPad in the holder while cooking.
