| I am looking for a bright, well-organized and astute fee-only financial advisor to provide some investment ideas. No stockbrokers or financial advisors who work for retail wire houses such as Merrill Lynch. Prefer an independent professional with strong credentials. |

| Ask an estate planning lawyer for recs. agree most like to sell crap that they make commission or fees on. You may want to try Internet sources written by financial professionals with no dog in the fight. Suze orman isn't great but someone like that suggests decent conservative asset allocation and has sound advice. |
