ISO: Adult orthodontics recomendations

My DH had a dental appt earlier this week and his dentist recommended that he get his teeth straightened.

I believe he needs this and was looking for a recommendation. I am cautious of a dentist who also performs this - but maybe I should not be.

Any experiences, recommendations, tips would be greatly appreciated.

My husband had braces put on in his 40s by Dr. Donald Liang. I think he has a couple of offices in Maryland, including Potomac and Bethesda, but my husband saw him at the College Park office. He is in practice with his son Christopher, who my husband also saw. He thought very highly of both of them and was really pleased with the results. The College Park office number is 301-927-9000.

He needs a second opinion before committing.

I just got mine off and have no regrets. It was $6k and 3.5 years, though. I wish it hadn't been necessary.

Also, don't overlook regular old train tracks. They are much less intrusive than invisaline if you have a caffeine addiction.
