| Stop taking all the boy's names for girls! |
| It's a boy's name. Sorry. |
|
Boy.
|
| This is like naming a girl "Romeo." Tristan and Isolde is a well known love story. |
Seriously. Pick a girl name. There's plenty to go around. |
| No. It's a boys name. |
This made me LOL. It is as if there is a 'quota' for names. OP- Go ahead and take whatever name you want. My DD's name is Dylan. Five years later, we still love it, and no poor boy was harmed when we took his name. |

I have never said this, but I think one person has to be posting these boy-names-for-girl-names for his/her own odd entertainment.
If that isn't the case, I am sorry. Name your daughter Tristan Wayne Lastname. |
| I don't so much care about stealing a boys name. Some are absurd for girls (Elliot) and some work really well on girls (Kyle, Dylan). My issue with Tristan is that it's already a little trashy and when crossed over to a girl it becomes, well, pole-bound. Wasn't Trista the first bachelorette? |
| Name her Isolde. |
| Ugly. |
Not a good idea. Using Wayne for a middle name ups the chance that your child will become a serial killer. |
+1 |
Ha. Then we will have posts in 20 years, "Can I name my daughter Tristan or will everyone think she is that seriel killer from DC." |
