I have to take the kids for an early dinner (5pm) near Thomas Circle on Wed night. What's the good option for both good food and kid-friendly? Thaitanic? Thanks.

Ted's Bulletin is great, but not that close.

I'd head for P Street between 14th and 15th. Tortilla Coast, Commissary, or Stoney's. (At Stoney's they have tables in the back, you don't have to sit in the bar area up front.)
