BJs would carry bulk apple slices, right?

Anonymous
Sorry if this is a basic question (I keep calling BJs but can't get anyone in the right department to answer)- I need to buy the pre-packaged apple slices in bulk and am just wondering if BJs would carry this. My right leg is in a cast so I have to plan appropriately to get places since I can't drive and have to depend on others at the moment. THanks!

I don't mean to be rude here, but why can't you just buy a bunch of apples and slice them youself? Seems like that would be much easier.

I'm not sure if I've seen pre-sliced in a bag, and BJs, OP, but another option could be to call the deli department and see what kind of fruit/veg party tray options they've got.

To 8:12, no, it would not be easier to slice a huge amount of apples when you are in a cast.

The leg is in a cast, not the arms, right?

Lazy much? Just buy this tool: http://www.amazon.com/Prepworks-GPC-2701-Progressive-International-Slicer/dp/B00EZQQO9Q/ref=sr_1_2/182-3572215-8457248?ie=UTF8&qid=1387202048&sr=8-2&keywords=apple+slicer

They sell them in the grocery store.

How does a leg cast affect your finger dexterity?

Yes, get definitely do carry them. At the Falls Church one they are on the end of an aisle with the strawberries and packaged/sliced pineapple.

OP here.

Thanks for the confirmation at least the Falls Church one carries it.

For the naysayers accusing me of being lazy- it's a donation for an organization and it's been requested that they come in the prepackaged bags. I can't slice and send. I hope this satisfies your curiosity.

I was just in BJ's Alexandria yesterday and I did not see any. But then again I wasn't looking to hard for them. I believe I would have noticed them if they were there though.

are you sure - b/c up above your defensive post was that it is not easier to slice in a cast. Not that they needed to be in pre-packaged (presumably sealed by a manufacturer) bags. Which is it?

She didn't say it was not easier to slice in a cast; someone else did.

I cannot figure out why you care that someone is planning to buy a product that is neither illegal nor immoral. And don't you need to go grow, thresh, and grind your own week so's you can make biscuits for supper or something?

Oh my goodness. OP here. Why does it matter why they need to be pre-packaged?? Anyway, I didn't post that it was not easier to slice in a cast- someone else did. I mentioned being in a cast to let people know I can't quite jump in the car to find out without planning because I can't drive myself and am reliant on others to take me.
