Gifts

We're new to PGCPS as our older child is in a private school. Could someone tell me if there is a policy on gifts for the teachers in PGCPS? We haven't received any info about the class organizing a group gift, so we'd like to give something to my DD's teacher, but if there is some type of policy about gift giving, then I don't want to violate it. Sorry to ask on here, I did email the AP but no reply at all which is (sadly) par for the course. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

We've had one or two times where a parent stepped up to try and organize a class gift, but usually we've done something like a gift card/certificate (usually Starbucks or Franklin's)...
