Vent about DH

Anonymous
Mine refuses to eat home cooked meals with me and DD. instead, he eats things like TV dinners, chips, poptarts, fast food, and ice cream after DD and I go to sleep. He is 42. He also takes: seroquel, ambien, advil, prilosec, and smokes pot daily. And he wonders why I'm not attracted to him?

Sorry to hear, was he always like that?
Therapy or divorce. Quick!

Get a hefty life insurance for him, get the will and trust figured out, then just let him be.

Woooo OP this would be grounds for dismissal for me!

Hahaha. Guys like that sometimes live to be old. Remember George Burns with his cigars and booze?

Has he always been like this? Is he depressed?

I think seroquel can make people crave carbs and sweets at night.

Who buys the stuff? Food and pot!

For crying out loud you're a helpmate - take his junk food weed smoking azz out to dinner. He gets a decent meal with good company (you) and the ambiance of a nice night out with his DW may rekindle the fires again or at least fuel some change on his part.

You sound like a great person!

He won't and can't change unless he wants to.

Maybe he is depressed. In this situation I feel bad that there is a child involved and may be without a father soon because of his life style.

Well, he's still smoking pot and eating like it too. I bet he's skinny too even though he eats junk, the fucker. I feel for you, op, especially for your kid. He should see a therapist. He's self-medicating his depression with pot.
