Good ethnic food and good beer?

I love hole-in-the wall ethnic places, the spicier the better. I also like good beer. Sadly, the two never seem to go together, and many of the best places don't have any beer at all.

Is there anywhere with good ethnic food that also serves good beer?

Try Korean. Spicey and spice it up with soju. They think soju is the best thing in the world.

These two things usually don't go together because if a place can make money off of good beer, they won't waste money on a good chef to make quality food.

Best thing is to usually carry-out the good food, get some quality beer somewhere else, and party at home/friend's place.
