I’m curious what the mental illness is here— maybe borderline personality disorder? Or maybe just a classic con artist. Either way it must be exhausting.

What’s sad is that there seems to be a consensus that she is genuinely a nice person- or at least she was. It’s too bad that she felt so insecure that she didn’t think that was enough. I just want to know what her high-achieving parents did or said that could have made this worse, because I think it’s not that uncommon for high achieving parents to make their children feel insecure and essentially sabotage them.

Eating disorders often co-occur with personality disorders. I am thinking she may not have full-blown, but definitely symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder. Parading around in your panties and making sexual yoga poses would fit, along with a vain IG that is nanny free where one could infer she is superwoman. Fits with the plastic surgery too...I am just assuming plastic surgery since the nose and boobs look different...it is merely a hypothesis.

I followed her on IG too and last summer someone commented on one of her random posts saying her name was Hilary Hayward-Thomas, and that her Mom was Dr Kathryn Hayward and that she was from Boston. That sent me down a rabbit hole where I found her MySpace and ballroom photos. And also her parents and brother’s websites, Facebooks, and obits of her grandparents. But when I googled her name everything that came up was really vague andand I became suspicious that her history had been purposefully scrubbed. That led me to google “Hilaria Baldwin fake” and this thread was the third or fourth result down. It was at about page 60 and I think I read them all in one sitting. I was fascinated and I’ve followed along, and contributed, all these months. I’m glad she was finally confronted and I hope she comes clean- I’d love to hear how this all happened.

And with all that said, I hope she survives this with her psyche intact. Because she has those little kids depending on her, and I think it’s pretty clear she has some mental health issues.

What annoyed me the most about her is that she was clearly fame-hungry and “thirsty”, posting about her miscarriage but then complaining about paparazzi not giving her privacy after the news, as if they were swarming her. If she really wanted privacy she wouldn’t have used her social media in that way - she could have had privacy quite easily.

People are too sensitive. His approach is far better than Hilaria's way of pretending the nannies don't exist. That is 100x more insulting to both their staff and the general public.

Why are people so surprised that really wealthy people have a ton of help? Aren't we all beyond the "celebrities! they're just like us!" nonsense?
