Sean “Diddy” Combs accused of gang rape of teen girl in new lawsuit

That crap judge initially said that federal guidelines of 70-80 months would be justified and now is only giving him 50 plus the max fine of half a mil?

This is not nearly enough. It doesn't come close to an adequate punishment for what these women went through.

Gross.

Judge: You weren't just speaking to the jurors, but to other victims. You stood up to power. It's not easy. Violence behind closed doors doesn't have to stay secret forever. I know you still bear trauma. But you've taught us, you don't have to stay a victim

And I, the judge, taught women their trauma is worth less than 5 years of imprisonment.

Judge: As Doctor King taught us, Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope. Mr. Combs, your mom writes that you have always been a good son. The same power that enabled you to hurt these women, you could use to help.
[Combs is sitting with his hand folded]

Judge: Adjourned

BARF. Shows us that judges can be complete garbage.

Disgusting.

The US Probation Office is known to be reasonable. There was no reason for the judge giving such a substantial downward departure.

This sentence does, and should, raise ethical questions about the judge.

Anonymous wrote:Sentencing is today. Any predictions? I'm guessing a max of 5 years with time served and probation. I think the defense is asking for 14 months with time served, which would have him released around the end of this year.
I think 5 years with time served and and he will serve another 2 years.

But his kids say they need their daddy back.

Diddy has testified he won’t do it again. He’s changed. Why are they still keeping him in prison?

My guess is he gets time-served and will be released.

Trump will pardon him.

In support of the judge's inexplicable downward departure of at least 20 months, I wonder whether this was a factor quietly considered by the judge.

I'm disgusted with judge's words that Combs has been an inspiration to people of color. No, sir! I've worked with Black teachers, administrators, and ministers who truly have been an inspiration to POC and youth of all ages. They weren't harming kids with disturbing sexual and abusive behavior or disgusting song lyrics that are degrading to women.

May God bless you. Nobody should judge this horrible monster by the color of his skin. This is is no way a reflection of any race.

He got the celebrity treatment that sentence was very disappointing. I'm sick of this bs.

Plus, Jeffrey Epstein is white--so it is an individual issue regardless of race.
