All eyes on Friday. |
Bottom half of the IAC should be relegated to the MAC. STA, SSSAS, and Epsicopal all worse than Potomac, St. Andrews, and St. James. |
It’ll never happen but a conference of
Prep Landon Bullis Gonzaga SJC DeMatha PVI And then a conference of STA SSSAS Episcopal Heights SAES Potomac St. James Sidwell And then a third conference with the bottom of the WCAC plus the bottom of the MAC - Maret, Flint Hill, GDS would give everyone a lot more competitive games |
Prep 8 Bullis 5 at the half |
Gonzaga up 14-6 over Paul VI third quarter. |
Last time Gonzaga beat St. John’s was 2018 I believe. They are due. |
Final 15-7 Gonzaga. |
Prep Bullis score? |
GP 13 Bullis 11 final |
It’s Gonzaga’s year. Purple Eagles 12 SJC 8 |
They need to do it on the field first. Talk is cheap. |
GC? |
They’d be in division 1. |
In all my years following the WCAC, this might be the deepest the league has been in the past decade.
Between GC, GZ, SJC, and DM, any one of these teams has enough talent and coaching to hoist the WCAC trophy. Of course, the usual suspects, GZ and SJC will be the favorites to meet again in the title game but don't sleep on DeMatha who is peaking at the right time of year, or even GC. As for the IAC, the bottom half of the league (STA, EHS, SSSA) I don't ever recall in the league's history the caliber of lacrosse being this poor. Just a year ago, EHS was competing for a State Championship in the VISAA, and STA knocked off Bullis. Saint Stephens historically has always been competitive with Landon, GP, and Bullis in the past 15 years. I saw on a previous post that Landon was up 16-0 at halftime against EHS... |
Bottom half of the IAC is embarrassing. |
