Stocking stuffer ideas for DW?

Anonymous
I struggle with this every year because sort of by definition stocking stuffers are cheap, small, etc. Its hard to find something decent/interesting/useful that isn't a total waste of space/money.

Any ideas? No particular budget, but dont want to break the bank (i.e. keys to a new lexus = not an option )

Think about things she really likes such a favorite chocolate bar or a nice bar of soap.

We do lots of little things, some cost a bit more and others are from the grocery store checkout line.

Always some small thing of chocolate - whether it's a decadent expensive thing or simply a bag of m&m's
Lotion. I'm partial to good-smelling body butters so he usually gets one of those.
Chapstick or lip gloss. I keep them stashed everywhere so can always use one.
Starbucks gift card - or Panera or B&N or wherever her regular favorite retail place is.
Warm fleecy socks
Breathmints
Something practical - does she need a new ice scraper or hand sanitizer
Fun new nail polish, and maybe a gift certificate for a pedicure at her favorite local nail salon
Does she workout? Something small related to her exercise of choice. When I was running marathons DH would often put some GU in my stocking.

World Market has very cute stocking stuffers. When I was there last week I was wishing I could just buy my own stocking stuffers. Lotions, soaps, soaps, little candles, cute post-it notes, etc. You can get everything in one trip to World Market.

My husband always puts a couple pairs of thick SmartWool socks in my stocking. I live in those things in the winter and don't think I would ever be satisfied with regular socks now.

Does she take baths? Is she okay with scented products? Although I generally have an aversion to perfumed products, DH usually gives me few bath bombs from Lush, and I love them.

These are what I can remember Dh buying me last year:

A ton of different mini nail polishes. I can't have painted nails at work so I love changing up colors on the weekends/when I go out

A couple of those Eos lip balms

Dunkin Donuts gift card

A few pieces of candy I love (ranging from skittles to a high end chocolate bar)

pens (I'm always losing them)

lip gloss

a fun new clip for my ID badge

Some things I'd like in a stocking:

a magazine she doesn't usually buy/read
mini umbrella for her purse
envirosack reusable bag
iPhone charger prominently labeled with my name and "Do not Remove" so my kids won't take it for themselves
Gardening gloves

lotto scratch offs
mini bottles booze
nail polish
mini lotions
travel kleenex
chocolate
nail files
nail buffers
LED mini flashlight

Or a sample of different types. This would be perfect. DH would NEVER come up with this on his own!

We do a naughty stocking each year to be opened at night after kids crash. Suggest it to your DH
