Keep them separated?

Might be a good idea to have separate forums for mothers that work for pay and those that are staying home. They have different issues and clearly love to bash each other. So like I used to do with my kids, you gotta keep 'em separated sometimes!

But some have legitimate questions that would be addressed best by those in the same situation. For example: a SAHM who wants to meet others in her area during the day for play groups, or a working mom who wants to discuss the best day care options in her area. Those people are looking for advice and it isn't helpful to be insulted by someone in the opposing camp.
I get that it's entertainment, but hasn't it run it's course by now? It's like watching reruns of the same show over and over and over.

I've seen little of that type of snarkiness. When an OP asks a legitimate ? Like the examples you give, most of the responses are on topic. There may be a few anti-daycare posts, but most give lots of suggestions.
The ones that bring out the venom and claws are the baiting ones, like SAHM now complains about not having money. It's all on how the OP frames the question or statement.
Frankly, I think we need a "white person" forum so all the people who wonder about white people can post their questions.
