Yes. I posted about that in the other forum on the thread about hiring personal coaches for your kids. Nobody seemed to care. But it's important in case there are other victims out there, |
Why is it so hard to understand that many of these "coaches" put themselves into positions where they can have access to their age preference?
Be very suspicious of any single male tutor or coach who does not have a child on the team. Do not be fooled that the coach "has no record". That only means that he has never been caught. |

But not suspicious of a single female? The double standard and fear of men in education is toxic. |
Please. How often do you hear of a female abusing a minor vs. a male? |

Female teachers offend at a rate that is close to that of male teachers. |
Offend or are reported? Because there's that whole cultural component of male dominance and teen boys "liking it" with older women that dissuades ... I think it's healthy to have a strong dose of caution with ANY adult working with children - be they male, female, single or other. I also think it is unhealthy to automatically easily jump to the conclusion that most single males are in the profession as predators. |
Argh! 19:11 here - I quoted the wrong comment. This refers to 16:59's comment. |
