Does anyone know, what geothermal system - oil heating means?
It means whoever wrote the brokerbabble has no idea what he or she is talking about. The power behind geothermal heat is electric. It might mean there is an old oil fired boiler or something. Who knows. I think it means the listing agent is a moron.
Geotherman systems draw heat from deep underground. They're not electric.
It might mean that oil is supplemental when the geo thermal isn't warm enough. Kind of like when you have a heatpump with electric strips when it gets too cold.
True, but an electric pump is required to "draw" the heat. The pump circulates water through a closed loop, it doesn't just happen magically. |
This means that a house with geothermal system increase the electric bill in winter time? O how this work? Do you save money?
