I'm a frugal girl and I like to collect all kinds of money-saving tips. My friends told me that shopping online with free coupons and promo codes is a good way to save. I tried several times and did save some. I want to know if all of you will use coupons when shopping online.
|
| As a rule, I will Google the store I'm ordering from beforehand to find out if there are coupons available. |
|
I try, although not always successfully.
Is this useful to you? Wouldn't you rather ask what the best online coupons are? |
| Yes. Google the site name and coupon code, takes 10 seconds |
| Yes, I always check retailmenot before I check out. |
| of course. An I always use ebates to click through for cash back on my purchase. So easy. |
Exactly... |
Ebates will sometimes have their own coupons, you do need to click through those specific links not just ebates in general. I saved $5 off a nerf gun at target, used it on two orders so $10 total. Also, got the cash back as well. |
This. Why would you not try it? |
| I use coupons / promo codes from google, browse and sign up on the email list and then don't buy - a coupon will often come in your email. I also do almost all of my online shopping through MyPoints and get points for gift cards. |
|
I definitely google and hit retailmenot. I'll sign up for company emails for an extra 10+% off. I need to investigate this ebates thing.
|
| is using ebates better than amazon prime |
| I will pretty much only use codes to buy online- and most of is for free shipping, otherwise why shop online? rebates from Ebates is fine, too, but I'm all about Upromise- I've gotten major $$ in rebates by going through them. |
|
All the time.
I use MyPoints and Swagbucks for shopping also and sometimes ebates and big crumbs. |
|
I always check the internet for coupon codes and usually find them. I also wait to order things until I know I will reach the minimum for free shipping on certain sites.
I just ordered a TON of client gifts online and had to pay shipping for most of them, which is making me sick. Not my money, so who cares really, but still... |
