Miscalculated ovulation- ugh

DH and I just had sex and he didn't pull out like he usually does because I thought I wasn't ovulating for anther week. Just checked the calendar and I'm ovulating tomorrow!

We just discussed the morning after pill and he says I should take it if I want. He's fine either way.

Angry with myself and wish we hadn't been so careless.

I'm not trying to pile it on but it always surprises me when people rely on the pull-out method instead of an IUD or pills or whatever else. The only couple I know in person who does that has two unplanned children.

I can't help the OP but we pull out successfully and have for years. In fact he doesn't even like coming inside even when I say I'm not on a fertile day. Pull out method can really work.

OP here. We've been using pull and pray for 8 years now and it's never failed us. We have two beautiful children (planned) and want a third but now is not the time.

We've used the pull out methods successfully for years. I did, however, get pregnant with an iud in place.
