I am looking for color recommendations for my daughter's room. I would like to paint the walls a pale green color. She is 19 months old and I would like it to be something that we can keep for a while (and not look too girly!). We would probably be accenting with a multi-color quilt with some pink, purple, yellow, etc.
Thanks in advance for any recs you may have. |
Benjamin Moore Wind Chime |
Behr Feldspar |
Benjamin Moore Sweet Caroline |
Sherwin Williams. Ancient marble |
Sherwin Williams Comfort Grey. |
Benjamin Moore Pale Seamist. We have it in our master bedroom and nursery and it's beautiful. A little warmer than a sage, pale but not too pale, just gives the room a very warm, calm feel. Goes great with an Asian style interior, but would really complement any decor. |
Behr Mountain Haze - it's a gray green and my daughter has a quilt with pink, yellow, light blue and light green in the room. |
Benjamin Moore Sage Tint |
Whatever you pick, go the lightest shade on the chip or it will end up VERY VERY VERY BRIGHT. |
Martha Stewart Spring Melt (from the Martha Stewart line at Home Depot). |

I agree that you will be surprised by how much color even a very pale looking paint sample will put on your walls, but I disagree with this general advice. The lightest color on a paint chip is often close to white. You don't need to go that pale. But definitely get a sample and paint it on a piece of cardboard and hold it up against the wall in the room in question. |
