Is there anywhere to eat lunch near Glen Echo

| Were going to a kids show at Glen Echo next week at 1030, We would like to take the kids somewhere close for lunch afterwards, Is there anywhere near by there, no more than 10 min drive, prefer less. |

Wild Tomato in Cabin John -- just a bit farther out on MacArthur
Praline -- just a bit farther in toward the District, near the interesection of MacArthur and Sangamore both would fit the bill if you want someplace kind of nice, but not too fancy |

You can walk here from the back parking lot behind the theatre. It's a little expensive but I've always had a good experience there. If you're willing to drive, there are lots of options on MacArthur. There's also Praline off Sangamore. |

| We usually end up at Wild Tomato just up the road. There is also a new fish taco place right next door. Don't recall the name, and they have more than fish tacos, but that's what's advertised out front. |

Drive a bit further and you could go to Ledos. |

| It is kid friendly especially when the Christmas decorations are up. Two times when my dd was little-- we had a lunch party at the Irish Inn and then moved next door to see the show at Glen Echo. I don't think it was called the Irish Inn back then...it might have been the Glen Echo Inn...very convenient...you can bring your own cake and they have a kid's menu. |
