Travis and Nicole -- wow, so dysfunctional. He treated her with such contempt and meanwhile he's no prize. They're both doctors, how much can winning a million dollars really affect them? |
I agree. Their whole condescending thing about the Afghan guys lying was pathetic given how they cheated in pretty much every challenge.
|
I liked them at first, but the way he talked down to her in the later episodes was deplorable. I think one of the reasons she kept screwing up challenges in the end of the race was because he got into her head. |
Oh yeah, he was a terrible jerk to her. Horrible spouse. |
It was so sad at the finish line, how she was saying he expected her to be the perfect woman, etc. He tried to recover by saying he loved her, but man. The damage was done. |
He was horrible that last episode. Can't even blame it on sleep deprivation given he is a doctor.
I hope they get some serious counseling. |

They did another reality show too |
Here is a recent article where they talked about the race:

The 4 kids in the pic were boys. Wonder if the 5th one was too. Also, the tone to his voice was soooo irritating. To be fair though, in the last episode you did kind of agree with the winning team that Nicole was hopeless with pour guidance....but he was stills dick. |
So glad to see this. I too wanted them to win until the last few episodes. What a jerk - my husband and I couldn't believe Travis' words. Awful. |
You do know that not all doctors are affluent. |
I do not know any that are poor The wife married her 'teacher'. He definitely rules and so far she seems to be ok with it |
It was painful to watch how he treated her. And that's the example they are setting for their kids. Really sad |
They seem very vain. |
We are the amazing JASPERS!!! Yikes. |
