| We have a wooden dining table and we'd like to have the top stripped and refinished. Any recommendations? We live in downtown DC. Thanks. |

| We had our dining room table (50 yrs old, been in the family since then) stripped and refinished last year. We used Harry C. Johnson in Gaithersburg. They did an incredible job, but are on the expensive side. If you care a lot about the table, I'd say it's worth the money. They sand off the old finish by hand, and let you come in once it's stripped to see how different stains and glosses will look. |
