11dp5dt - BFP but cramping/bleeding since Wednesday

Anonymous
I've had two betas so far which showed a 2.5 day doubling rate. RE doesn't seem to be concerned about spotting even though it was been more like a very light period at times.

I can't stop worrying, though.

Is the bleeding/cramping really that "normal" in a healthy pregnancy? This is my first time getting a BFP and I don't know what to think.

Are you saying your doubling time is 60 hours? If so, that is fine.

With IVF "they" say bleeding is very normal. Some ladies develop SCHs that linger & bleed for weeks. I'm sure it is scary to experience, but try to remain hopeful. Will you go back for a 3rd beta soon before u/s in a couple weeks?

OP here - thanks for your response. Doubling time was actually more like 63 hours.

I go back for another beta tomorrow. Just getting antsy again!

OP here, the bleeding has finally stopped. No matter how "common" it is in early pregnancy, I'm relieved.

And my doubling time is now under 48 hours! I guess I get to relax and wait for the ultrasound in a couple of weeks!

I also had 2 SCH (no cramping tho) for an IVF and a FET. Do you know PP why they are connected to fertility procedures? Is it because they may knick or "damage" something upon embryo transfer?

What is SCH? I've yet to receive my BFP but maybe I'll need to know this eventually!

I had two episodes of SCH at week9 and week15. Don't particularly know whether SCH is associated with IVF more often than the normal pregnancy.
My SCH was not at all like tiny brown spot, it was more like bright red but the amount wasn't nearly as much as the regular period. Scary time, but a boy came out from that year.

I had a SCH without bleeding after IVF, but it went away and the pregnancy was successfull.

Before IVF, I got pregnant with IUI and had bleeding at week6. It became stronger within the same day though (as strong as a period) and I had a miscarriage the next day.
