CHI or Hai flat iron? For coarse hair

I think I have tried just aboput every flat iron out there, including one of the CHI models which fried my hair.

Can anyone recommend a good one for coarse, thick hair?

Sorry to hear your hair is fried. I have the same issue with mine-But mine isn't coarse, just dry.

Have you tried any heat spray at all? I have a thermoactive heat spray that I spray on before I flat iron, maybe this might help you.
