Republicans have been telling folks they’re going to do this for decades. No one should be surprised!

Are these 178,000 jobs in the room with us now?

I really don’t know what to believe anymore. I’m searching for good news, but I just don’t see where all this hiring is taking place. Is it all in healthcare? Is our economy just getting by on diabetes treatments for baby boomers?

I didn't believe the Biden jobs numbers and I don't believe the Trump jobs numbers. The feds are lying and you can see it in stagnant wages and ghost postings.

The feds are not lying.

NP. Under Trump they definitely are lying. I haven't heard a GOP/MAGA tell the truth in a year, or call out Trump's bad behavior.

They’re very open about their methodology. To date, they are not faking numbers.

I think the collapse of US hegemony, a global price spike and recession, and a new ground war in the Middle East are far worse than drag queens reading books at the library.

Now you know you not telling the truth with that statement. Under the Trump administration, when the truth doesn’t fit their narrative, all they do is lie. Trump will find somebody to lie, and if they don’t, they are “FIRED “.

Okay Karoline. The numbers will be revised downward at the next reporting.

Yes, the methodology is transparent to everybody. Report high numbers driven by healthcare that get revised down a month later. Wash, rinse, repeat.

DP. I’m willing to believe the methodology is transparent and they aren’t just making up numbers. But I DO NOT understand why there is any sort relief from these numbers - they should be reported as current estimates, also report how often, by how much, and in which direction recent adjustments to the monthly numbers have been made.

They report it like it’s an established fact!

Yes, Trump fired the head of BLS but that doesn’t mean career economists are faking numbers. They didn’t before and are not now. They’ve always revised numbers. The are transparent about the current issues they’re facing.

Some of you will believe anything. This entire government lies in Congressional hearings, and repeatedly, shamelessly lies to journalists. And, now we’re supposed to believe what they say?

No thanks.
