| I would think not but wondering what others do. |
| How about some cookies. Or some festive bottles of Champagne for the new year. |
| I have the same question. I was thinking $100 bill and some home made cookies. This guy has been w the family for a while...it's sort of close relationship. But idk is that too much? |

| Is this someone who does a lot of work for you? If so, then sure, go ahead and tip. If it's someone just doing a one time job, then it's not expected. |
| Hell no. Are they giving you anything for free? |
Depends on the contractor. I know alot of contractors that go out of their ways to treat their regular clients quite well. Obviously, not an asshole like you though. Hey, what's the chance you are a lawyer or in finance ? |
| How about father and son contractor- each a gift ? Ie bottle of wine ? |
If you love the work they do, something along these lines is fine. Wine is always good in my opinion!!! |
| My handyman gets a cookie tray if he's here in December. |
Get them a gift card to Home Depot - guys like tools - doesn't have to be alot - they can treat themselves to one nice new hand tool or as someone else suggested some home baked cookies to bring home. |
