Where can I get one that. Will last def 2-3 years (with toddler wear and tear)? And brand recommendations? Also, what do we think about refurbished washer and dryers
sears- kenmore
A cheap one will not get your clothes clean and use way more water and energy.
You can buy ge top load for cheap
Habitat Restore
Kenmore washers are a great option. They use more energy than the more expensive ones, but they get your clothes cleaner and done in much less time. They can easily last 20 years with little/no maintenance. The simpler, the better!
They are all probably made by the same manufacture with a different label. I think we have whirlpool but cannot remember. I'd skip refurbished in less it has a warranty. I would be concerned it the fix was not fixed. I've seen ok prices at HD/Lowes on clearance/floor models. Or, check online as sears has an outlet (they also have stores but when I have gone they are $$$) as I got a great deal years ago on our fridge.
Beg your pardon but mine was not cheap. http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-5-0-cu-ft-High-Efficiency-Topload-Washer-with-Steam-in-White-ENERGY-STAR-GTWS8650DWS/203955415?cm_mmc=shopping-_-googleads-_-pla-_-203955415&skwcid&kwd=&ci_sku=203955415&ci_kw=&ci_gpa=pla&ci_src=17588969#.UqFLm1tDt2E Neither was the matching dryer. |
