Hi, I am new in the area and looking for infertility clinics that work with women over 40. I understand that certain clinics do not take patients over certain age, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
All the local clinics are happy to work with women in their early forties. After 43 or so, it gets a little trickier. Dr. Sacks at Columbia fertility associates is very open to older patients.
Dr. Sacks is definitely the best for over 40 locally. If you have the resources, I would highly recommend going to CRMI (Cornell) and Dr. Davis specifically. They are the gurus for over 40.
Agree with PP that you may want to think about one of the bigger-name, out of State clinics from the get-go. At 40 you don't have much time to lose and the bigger-name clinics tend to have *much* better success rates with older women.

DF does not have an age cutoff for IUI or nat IVF.

Another recommendation for Dr. Sacks for 40+ women. I had two children with his help at 42 and 44.
If you are doing donor eggs, all of them will work with you up until your late 40's at least. Regular IVF is a different beast since success rates are typically so low they don't want to waste your time and money. Not that by some miracle it couldn't work as it does for the lucky few.not sure of the exact cutoff but I seem to recall after 43 it's unlikely they will do IVF unless you use DE.
